I am a health geographer with a background in GIS and spatial analysis. I have been developing and applying novel geospatial methods to built environment and health research (including GIS, GPS, participatory GIS, and qualitative GIS). I am a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne and an NHMRC Early Career Fellow. My current research is investigating associations between urban nature (greenness, bluespaces, biodiversity) and a number of health-related outcomes including cardiovascular disease, mental health, and physical activity. As part of this work I am developing spatial measures of urban nature.
